Overview of the Department:

The department of Dermatology headed by Dr.Shivanand.D.R with very rich experience in the field of skin care. Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin and its diseases, a unique specialty to treat with both medical and surgical aspects of some cosmetic problems of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails. Clinical as well as theory classes for the undergraduate students (MBBS), conducted by the faculty of the department. The clinical services offered by the department include dermatological problems and sexually transmitted diseases.

Lecture halls with audio-visual aids and Laboratories with required state of the art equipments. Latest collection of audio-visual teaching aids. Very good collection of dermatological books and national & international journals at Central Library.
