Departmental Mueseums

Anatomy Museum

Anatomy museum displays wet & dry specimen and embryology. Models, ski grams, CT scans, MRIs, X-ray view boxes are facilitated for students. Spacious seating accommodation which is 200 SQ.M in area is designed to accommodate 35 students to study at a time in the museum. There are two attached rooms 15 SQ.MT each for the preparation of models, specimens and for artists and modellers to work.

Pathology Museum

Pathology Museum is a spacious 90 SQ.MT museum with a seating capacity of 50 students and an ante room. This museum displays labeled specimens, charts and models. Copies of catalogues are provided for the reference of students.

An Autopsy room with an area of 400 SQ.MT accommodates 40 Students, facilitated with cold storage, cadavers, ante-rooms, washing facilities, waiting hall and office. Mortuary and autopsy rooms are placed in the hospital and are shared with the department of Forensic Medicine.

Microbiology Museum

Microbiology museum is a spacious 80 SQ.MT museum with a seating capacity of 60 students and an ante room. This museum displays labeled specimens, charts and models. Copies of catalogues are provided for the reference of students.

Pharmacology Museum

Pharmacology museum is a spacious 125 SQ.MT museum with a seating capacity of 50 students and an ante room. This museum displays labeled specimens, charts and models. Copies of catalogues are provided for the reference of students.

 

FMT Museum

Forensic Medicine & Toxicology museum is a spacious 175 SQ.M with a seating capacity of 50 students. The museum displays medico-legal specimen charts, models, prototype fire arms, wax models, slides, poisons, photographs and etc. with. This museum displays labeled specimens, charts and models. Copies of catalogues are provided for the reference of students.

An Autopsy room with an area of 400 SQ.MT accommodates 40 Students, facilitated with cold storage, cadavers, ante-rooms, washing facilities, waiting hall and office. Mortuary and autopsy rooms are placed in the hospital and are shared with the department of pathology.

Community Medicine Museum

Community medicine museum is a spacious 175 SQ.M museum. This museum displays models, charts, Specimens and other material concerning communicable diseases, Community Health, Family Welfare planning, Biostatics, Sociology, National Health Programs, Environmental Sanitation and etc.
