  • Procedure room with operating microscope, sterilizer and cold light source
  • Anterior segment imaging system digital – with camera – Appasamy
  • I chart – projection system with contrast sensitivity assessment
  • Fundus camera
  • Indirect Opthalmoscopes
  • A 30 bed ward for both male and female patients.

  • Events conducted regularly
  • School eye screening – monthly
  • Primary Health Centre visit - Diagnosis, Screening and Treatment camps
  • Interns orientation programme – Annual



Donation or Volunteer information
    Eye donors can register with the department and are required to undergo ‘Screening’, and will be issued a donor card; their next of kin are requested to inform the Shridevi Research Hospital / eye department as soon as they are deceased to facilitate immediate eye collection.
