National No Tobacco Day & World Stroke Day 2014 was observed on 17/10/2014 at 02:00pm. It was organized by Department of Community Medicine in Lecture Hall-1 at Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital.

The program was chaired by Dr. Raman M Hulinaykar, Medical Director, SIMS&RH, Dr. C M Gurumurthy, Dean, SIMS&RH and Dr. S D Desai, Principal, SIMS&RH.

Key note address was delivered by Dr. Sagorika Mullick, Prof & Head, Dept. of Community Medicine, SIMS&RH.

Scientific session was presented on National No Tobacco Day by Dr. Y Chandrashekhar, Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine, SIMS&RH, and on World Stroke Day by Dr. Ravi Shankar Professor, Dept of Medicine, SIMS&RH.
