For the first time in India, the Oncology department in Shridevi Research Hospital proudly announces the launch of Laser Guarded Image Guided Radiotherapy along with state of the art Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).

These technologies provide solutions in real time monitoring of highly conformal treatments with improved patient safety, which in turn will help in better disease control and quality of life.

A four-year-old boy hailing from Assam, suffering from Medulloblastoma, was treated by cranio spinal irradiation (CSI) with IGRT, being the first treatment successfully delivered.

The department provides services to the treatment of Brain, Head and Neck, Thoracic, Abdominal, Genito-Urinary and Extremity tumors.
