One-Day ASHA Orientation Program – Empowering Community Health

Sri Shridevi Medical College and Hospital proudly hosted a transformative One-Day ASHA Orientation Program, bringing together our dedicated ASHA workers for a day of dynamic learning, active participation, and inspiration.

Program Highlights

  • Comprehensive Training: The orientation equipped ASHAs with practical insights into public health responsibilities, government schemes and digital tools, maternal and child healthcare, and advanced community awareness techniques.

  • Interactive Sessions: Through engaging discussions, case studies, and collaborative exercises, ASHA workers enhanced their skills, deepened their knowledge, and built strong peer networks.

  • Focus Areas:

    • Understanding and promoting public health at the grassroots.

    • Accessing and utilizing digital government health tools.

    • Improving maternal and child health outcomes in the community.

    • Strengthening communication and community mobilization strategies.
