Shridevi Medical College & Hospital, Tumakuru, proudly organized and participated in the World Organ Donation Day Jatha, a heartfelt initiative to promote the noble cause of organ donation.

Awareness Jatha was conducted successfully on the occasion of World organ donation day organised by Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Hospital.

Jatha was flagged off by Dr. Raman M Hulinaykar sir, Medical Director, Mr. M S Patil sir, Director of HR &IT, Dr. Lavanya Ma’am, Mrs. Ambika ma’am, Principal Dr. Harendra Kumar sir, Medical superintendent Dr. Mohan Kumar sir and CAO Dr. Pradeep Kumar sir present and participated in the Jatha with Faculty and students of Shridevi Group of institutions.

The walk began from Townhall Circle and concluded at Amanikere Park, bringing together faculty, students, healthcare professionals, and the community in a unified voice for a life-saving mission. This week-long program aimed to break myths, spread accurate information, and inspire pledges to donate organs.

Participants carried banners and messages highlighting the importance of organ donation, emphasizing that one selfless decision can give someone a second chance at life. The event created an atmosphere of hope, compassion, and solidarity, reinforcing the message that no life should be lost while waiting for an organ.
